Tanzania Dental Project We are delighted that you are considering spending time in Tanzania as a volunteer. The Tanzanian Dental Project and Smile Power support the Rift Valley Children’s Village, a nonprofit U.S.-based organization. The Tanzanian Dental Project officially started in the summer of 2007, with the help of India Howell, Founder of Tanzanian Children’s Fund. Dr. Teresa Castner and her husband Bill Pope were able to set up a much needed temporary dental clinic in the infirmary of the Rift Valley Children’s Village (RVCV). Current needs: 1 or 2 dentists, 1 or 2 hygienists, and possibly an assistant/hygienist. For inquiries, contact smilepower@smilepower.org Prepare for travel to Tanzania
